Before entering an area, SCCI staff members conduct a comprehensive survey in a prescribed printed format to evaluate the local conditions and potentiality for operations. Some of the key factors include total population, poverty level, accessibility, stability and safety. After an area has been selected, SCCI conducts a Meeting with the area people to introduce themselves, its mission, methodology and services. After the meeting, SCCI holds an introductory Meeting to further explain about SCCI to interested women in the area. Upon completion of the introductory meeting, Center Formation begins.
